One life, documented piece by piece — let’s remember …

Certificates, deeds, payslips and letters since 1965 — and, as the scanning proceeds, the photographs. No retelling, nothing embellished: the documents speak for themselves.

Christian Gurny

Born in Berlin in 1965. Schooled in Johannesburg, Cairo and a boarding school in the Solling hills; a working life in Berlin — apprentice, engineer’s world, thirty years of consulting. Today between Berlin, the Côte d’Azur and the Carpathian foothills.

The archive is kept in English, the language of a life lived across borders. The documents themselves are mostly German, and are shown as they are.
